To commemorate former Gloucester MP Parmjit Dhanda's nine years representing the city, the local Labour Party recently presented him with a book of photographs of his time, including some taken with the CWU.

The local elections on 4th June will see the Branch's Political Officer, Shaun Shute, standing as a Councillor in Quedgeley. A strong opponent of the proposed incinerator in the area, Shaun will be standing alongside David Purchase. An election address for both Shaun & David's can be seen by clicking on either of their pictures on the right. Further information on the campaign against the incinerator can be seen by clicking on the article on the left.


Following on from Shaun Shute's selection as a Labour Party Spokesman for the Quedgeley area of Gloucester, a posting was sent out to all local residents. A copy of the posting can be downloaded here -
